Bodies Running Club

 

Join the hottest new walk / run group in Lees Summit!

 

Bodies Running Club is proud to join forces with Kanas City Track Club to form a free run group in Lees Summit!  Our very own Brad McCleary, along with other Kansas City Track Club Ambassadors, will be helping lead this Lees Summit run group.  We meet every Saturday morning at Gusto Coffee across from Longview College (3390 SW Fascination Dr., Lee's Summit, MO 64081).  

We plan to run / walk from this location every Saturday at 7am.  We have a several courses around the beautiful area and then we all meet back at Gusto fo some coffee afterwards if you have time.  Brad McCleary, Courtney Foster, and Maria Brown  are the ambassadors leading the group.  You can learn more about them here: Kansas City Track Club Ambassador Page.  If you are a runner or walker in the Lee's Summit area we'd love to have you come out and try our group!  We have members running and walking varying paces so it's a great group for fun, friendship and motivation!

Would you like to join a great group of people for your next run? Look no further!  The Kansas City Track Club is a great group of walkers and runners with groups forming all over Kansas City.  As a member of the Kansas City Track Club you will have access to all their group runs.  

 

Run Group Benefits 

Supported Group Long Runs - from mid range runs to long Saturday mornings; it's always easier to run with others. The distance will vary depending on your goal.  A great support group of fellow runners might be just what you need to reach that next level–even if that next level is running for the first time.
 

Having Fun - even the serious runners will have fun running and connecting with like-minded peers.  For those just looking for a healthy weekend activity, this is sure to keep you interested and engaged.

Run Your Next Race with our Club!

Our Bodies Running Club participates in several of Kansas City's most popular local runs like Rock the Parkway, Hospital Hill, Waddell and Reed's Kansas City Marathon, Trolley Run, as well as all the Kansas City Track Club (hosted) runs: St. Patrick's Day Run, Brew to Brew, and Cliffhanger.  So you don't ever have to run alone again.  

Our Bodies Running Club also hosts a three run series called the Healthy Holiday Fun Run Series!  It consists of the "Halloween Hustle 5K & 10K Family Fun Run" in October, the "Turkey Trails 5K & 10K" in November, and the "Candy Cane Course 5K & 10K" in December.  Participants that take the "Bodies Challenge of doing all 3 will recieve a special medal!  These are also a great event for the whole family!  Great charities, tons of activities, amazing food, tech running shirts and medals for everyone!  Read more on the individual race pages.
